Umm Hurair has two parts, Umm Hurair 1 and Umm Hurair 2 with Umm Hurair 1 being Oud Metha district today. This district is a real stress-free district and a living zone, without too much of the trademark Dubai nightlife. The Dubai nightlife of Umm Hurair is rather concentrated to its part where it is bordering with Oud Metha.
With Sheikh Zayed road being nearby, Umm Hurair is a great starting point for an exploration of Dubai nightlife. The district lies on the shore of Dubai Creek and their most favourite parts include the Dubai Wonderland with the Dubai Dolphinarium and the huge Creek Park. Another part of Umm Hurair is the Dubai Healthcare City, which is quite a unique medical complex housing currently more than thirty medical institutions. Umm Hurair’s biggest hotel is the Grand Hyatt that has two bars on offer, one the Cooz with live evening jazz music and the Pool Bar with a chilled out atmosphere. The Vinoteca of the hotel has a great assortment of wines for all the lovers of this classy drink. The nearby Wafi City lies just on the border of Umm Hurair and Oud Metha and it serves with several sorts of great restaurants for the public. If you are in Wafi in the evening, do not miss the Wafi Rooftop Bar. Some of the best restaurants of Wafi City include the Seville’s and its Vintage wine bar offering quality wines for the guests. Waif has lots of cafés and all sorts of restaurants to serve everyone’s taste in food and style. Try Planet Hollywood if you are with family and do not miss the Carter’s.
If you want some more party options to enjoy Dubai nightlife to its fullest, take an excursion to the Oud Metha where you will find the Raffles Dubai hotel with some great clubs, such as the “People by Crystal”. It is among the trendiest places in Dubai playing great disco music or visit the Chi-The Lounge located in Oud Metha, which is among the best partying places in Dubai as well. If you like electronic and disco music you cannot miss these two clubs.
