When you are in Dubai, do not miss out on the Heritage Tour of it’s East Coast. Otherwise you stand to loose an opportunity to know of the Rich Heritage of the Middle East. Go for a drive on this tour winding through the romantic desert landscape to places like Al Dhaid, Dibba, Al Bidya Mosque, Fort Town Khor Fakkan, then on to Dubai’s Friday Market.
Tour Program
A multi-lingual tour guide accompanies you on this tour to deliver commentary on the places you visit. On the way to your first stop, at Al Dhaid in Sharjah, you will pass through the agricultural lands and from here the terrain changes from desert landscape to Mountain Terrain, with spectacular views.
Take some pictures of the beautiful canyon in the Hajjar Mountain range, for you will be descending in to the coastline from here. The coast is dotted with villages. One of the villages by name Dibba offers you a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean.
At Dibba a two hour break is provided to indulge in some leisure activity like snorkeling or swimming before tasting the Middle East’s delicacies at the Arabian Buffet Lunch.
Continuing from Dibba along the coastline you will arrive at the ancient Al Bidya Mosque, built in 15th century making it the oldest Mosque in the country. Next stop is at the port town of Khor Fakkam, the most beautiful and popular tourist spot in the Emirate of Fujairah. This beach is surrounded by mountains making it an attractive place.
At Fujairah, you will come across the ruins of the mountain dwellings and and an Iron Age structure, the 300 year old Fort of Fujairah perched precariously on a hill. Your camera will have feast of pictures at this location.
From here you get yet another opportunity to see another Oasis and one more fort at Bithnah, on the way back to Dubai. As a last stop you will land in the colorful Friday Market at Dubai, where in you can buy an Arabian Carpet or some artistic potteries to commemorate this Heritage tour. From here you are dropped back at your Hotel.
What is included and excluded?
Once you book yourself for the tour, you will be picked up from the place of your stay in an air-conditioned coach. While on tour, you will be treated to a buffet of lip-smacking Arabian cuisine. You will be accompanied by an experienced Guide. But, there will be no drinks served.
You need to do a few things
