Unlimited Entertainment at the Wild Wadi

Legend meets unlimited entertainment at the Wild Wadi Dubai. The only themed water park in the Middle East, Wild Wadi is based on an Arabian tale of Juha. According to the legend, Juha was a sailor who sailed along with Sinbad. Their ‘Dhow’ was destroyed in a storm and they were marooned on an enchanted island dotted with palm trees and streams. Drawing inspiration from the tale and the word Wadi which literally means oasis makes the park an ideal location for tourists to cool off after living it up on their trip to Dubai. The rides at Wild Wadi get your heart racing by zipping and zooming on their 17 slides and 3 pools.

The attractions at Wild Wadi Dubai include the Master Blaster rides, the Ring Rides, Jumeirah Sceirah, Tantrum Alley, Burj Surj, FlowRider – Wipeout and Riptide, Breakers’ Bay, Juha’s Journey, and Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon. The Master Blaster rides have 8 uphill roller coaster rides which send guests upwards to a height of 15 meters in single or double seater rings. The various Master Blaster rides guests can enjoy are Flood River Flyer, Jebel Lookout, White Water Wadi, Hos’N Hurler, Falaj Fury, Wadi Twister, Wadi Basher, and Wadi Leap.

As your stomach drops in the uphill rides, feel your heart in your mouth as you slide downwards in the Ring Rides. Five downhill slides namely Falcon Fury, Tunnel of Doom, Thunder Rapids, Tumble Falls and Rushing Rapids can be enjoyed in single or double seat rings. Both the Master Blaster and Ring Rides allow guests with a height of 1.1m and above. For the ride of your life, step onto the Jumeirah Sceirah. Reaching a height of 108 feet, feel the wind rushing as you slide down at a speed of 80 kmph! While you’re up there, catch a glimpse of the Burj Al Arab, the Madinat Jumeirah, as well as other famous sights of the area.

Once you are done defying gravity, ride the waves at Wild Wadi Dubai’s very own wave pools. The FlowRider has two pools called Wipeout and Riptide. Wipeout is undoubtedly the first barrelling wave to be built in the world. Breaker’s Bay is yet another wave pool in which people can experience massive waves that reach up to a height of 5 feet. Juha’s Journey or lazy river offers a relaxing sojourn along 300 feet of the park’s “river”. Since most of the rides allow people only above the height of 1.1 meters, children can have their share of crazy fun at the Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon. Wild Wadi Dubai has two restaurants and gift shops where guests can relax as well as buy souvenirs. Since the park offers rides which are highly adventurous, the guests are given safety gear like rubber rings, lifejackets and the like. There are close to 100 lifeguards spread over the park’s 12 acre area to ensure that the guests have a safe ride. Wild Wadi amusement park is located in one of Dubai’s posh neighbourhood of Jumeirah.
