The hotel is perfect for all sorts of travellers, even for stopover passengers, because it is about a max. 10 minutes drive from the Dubai airport, which one can make even in 5 minutes when the traffic is not big. The Al Rigga Street where the hotel is located offers a colourful charade of all sorts of international restaurants, bars, night clubs and shops. The Al Rigga quarter is very popular and full of hotels for this reason. The great souk life is just a short walk away and you can easily get to the Deira City Center, where the largest Carrefour in town awaits you, such a blessing to have it close by. Apart from it, there are many supermarkets on site, not that you need much food as the restaurants of the hotel are both great. The water of the Dubai Creek is only a nice walk away and you will arrive to the dhow wharfage, a beautiful port treasuring the old dhows or vessels of Dubai. These dhows are today mostly under renovation and make water sightseeing tours and cruises with meal and performances.

The internet is great at the hotel but unfortunately is not free costing around USD 10 per hour, which is pretty much, so guests are advised to look for a local internet café where they can use the internet for less than half of this price. The hotel offers great meeting and corporate facilities as well, including a fully-equipped business centre and three meeting rooms, out of which one is a banquet hall with the capacity of accommodating up to 350 people, serving great for conferences , international meetings and local weddings as well.
All in all the Flora Grand Hotel is a very promising hotel, with a very friendly and polite professional staff, a great location and good rates, it’s highly offered for a great short holidays. For longer holidays, try one of the other two hotels.
