Delmon Hotel Deira

The Delmon Hotel has a fine situation and its four stars are much overrated. However, for short stays, the hotel is ok; only do not stay anywhere near the nightclub of the hotel because you will not get much sleep that night. The facilities within the Delmon Hotel are acceptable and what makes is better than the others is that its staff is really friendly and helpful.

The Delmon Hotel is a popular stopover point for many who come and go. The good points of the Delmon Hotel are that they offer free shuttle back and forth from the Dubai International Airport and to the close by beaches of Dubai. The hotel is close to the beautiful water of Dubai Creek also it is quite close to the centre of Deira, with the Deira City Center, the Clock Tower and the traditional souk district as well. The Grand Mosque is quite near and you can visit the opposite lying Bur Dubai’s famous spots too. Going with the local water taxi, you can easily get to the Creek Park from here, where you can visit the Dolphinarium and there are two fun parks as well.

The Al Ghurair Centre shopping mall is very close to the hotel as well. You can easily catch the metro in here with which you can go around the town the most easily. The Delmon Hotel offers double and twin bedrooms, suites and triple rooms. There are altogether 120 rooms in the hotel. The rooms are equipped finely with all the promised facilities such as flat screen TV, iron board, tea, and coffee maker. All rooms are nicely cleaned, nicely furnished and offer a nice view. Try to get a room from the four floors upwards. WIFI costs AED 10 per hour. There is internet in the lobby of the hotel, in box system. There are laundry and dry cleaning services within the hotel too.

In the hotel, you can find a pool, which is rather small on the roof of the hotel and not too attractive for many guests. The poolside bar works well only it is rather expensive. The hotel has a spacious gym with television inside and up to date fitness machines. There is a Jacuzzi too for relax. The hotel is popular for its Norwegian Sauna system.

The main restaurant in the lobby of the Delmon Hotel serves buffets breakfast and warm meals during the day. You can choose from menus or order Á la Carte. There is a business lounge within the hotel, which is open always with some light snack availability, serving coffee and tea as well. Shisha is available within the hotel.

There are not one but three nightclubs within the hotel: Arabic, an Iranian and a Filipino nightclub. The entrance of the nightclub is only for those who are over 21 years old. Unfortunately, they are loud until 3 am. Therefore, the hotel is not good for families, unless they stay over the fifth floor. The Delmon Hotel has good potentials though. Many Dubai hotels try to accommodate nightclubs, as the consuming of alcohol is almost only allowed within hotels.
